Award: Innovationspreis Neue Gase

The New Gases In­no­va­tion Award 2024 was pre­sented on No­vem­ber 13th under the pa­tron­age of the BMBFD. Four prizes were cho­sen by the jury and one by the au­di­ence. Win­ners in the cat­e­gories of gen­er­a­tion, trans­port and in­fra­struc­ture and ap­pli­ca­tion tech­nolo­gies were: Scha­ef­fler AG for in­no­v­a­tive H2 coat­ings, RWE Gas Stor­age West for the Epe H2 stor­age fa­cil­ity and Schott AG for 100% hy­dro­gen in glass pro­duc­tion. A spe­cial prize went to the re­gional Rh2ein-Main Con­nect pro­ject for its vi­sion­ary con­cept. Over 100 ap­pli­ca­tions demon­strated the dy­namism of the mar­ket. Jury chair­man Prof. Behrendt em­pha­sized the rel­e­vance of such in­no­va­tions for the en­ergy tran­si­tion and the hy­dro­gen mar­ket. We are de­lighted that we pro­vided the venue with our Chapel&Pool lo­ca­tion in Berlin-Kreuzberg and that we were able to con­tribute to the suc­cess with the event plan­ning, im­ple­men­ta­tion and brand­ing.
