Urban Banks Berlin, BaseCamp Student GmbH, 2021

In 2019 BaseCamp acquires the area directly at the Spree in Oberschöneweide, previously known as Rathenau-Hallen. This was followed by the relaunch of the area under the name “Urban Banks Berlin” in August 2021. FTWild provided the concept and design for the new website which presents the development of the site. With its industrial look the old AEG transformer factory currently serves as a venue for exhibitions, award ceremonies and other cultural events. In the future the site is to develop into a lively place where urban workspaces are created and art/cultural facilities as well as a variety of gastronomy invite visitors to linger. There will also be a wide range of housing and recreational opportunities for students at the BaseCamp campus.
